Head and Brain Injury Claims FAQs
Do I have a claim?
As with every injury claim, to obtain compensation for a head injury, you have to show that it was caused by someone else’s negligence. A claim may still be made even if the victim was partly to blame for the accident. It is never too early to ask for advice from a specialist head injury solicitor- we are always happy to talk to you and give you an initial opinion about a possible claim, and it will be entirely free of charge.
If you or someone close to you has suffered a head injury and you need some help about what to do, with no pressure and entirely free of charge, please ring or email the leader of our head injury team, Mike Clarke on 01271 349954; firstname.lastname@example.org, or send an enquiry via our contact form.
How long will it all take?
By their nature, head or brain injury claims usually involve more subtle and less obvious injury than, for example, a fractured arm or leg. The full degree of injury may not be apparent for quite some time and specialist medical assessment will often be needed. All these factors mean that it is very rarely right to settle a head injury claim quickly. All cases are different, but for the victim and his family, worries about the time the case will take are often really a reflection of money worries, especially if the injury means the victim cannot work. We offer a unique “cash up front” scheme to try to take some of those worries away. www.newdeal-fairdeal.co.uk
Will I have to pay anything?

Will I get to see my lawyer?
Very likely, yes. We won’t trouble you with visits unless necessary, but we are always happy to meet clients face-to-face and the nature of head injury claims means that this is usually desirable. Unless something outside our control prevents it, we ensure the same lawyer will deal with your claim throughout. We go to great lengths to establish a friendly, confident relationship between you and your solicitor, because it is essential that you trust the advice we provide. Visit Our Team page.
